CSIR IIP Dehradun announces PhD Chemical Sciences Admission 2016

CSIR IIP Dehradun invites applications for admissions to PhD Chemical Sciences for the academic year 2015 - 16.

Ph.D Chemical Sciences is conducted by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and The Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), Dehradun.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

PhD program in Chemical Sciences and Chemical Engineering, under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), fulfilling the following eligibility criteria:
PhD in Chemical Science
=> Master's degree with a keen sense of scientific enquiry for pursuing advanced research in frontier areas of chemical Sciences.

=> The candidate should be having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies, e.g. CSIR, UGC, DBT, DST etc.), INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships

PhD in Chemical Engineering:
=> Candidates with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering having a good academic record and valid UGC/CSIR-JRF/SRF or equivalent fellowship can apply (or);

=> Candidates having following qualifications are eligible to apply BE/B.Tech with CGPA 8.5 / 85% Marks plus valid GATE/NET (Engineering) (Rank < 2000)

• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 15th October 2015
• Intimation to Shortlisted Candidates (on web): 31st October 2015
• Aptitude Test / Interviews: 23rd November to 11th December 2015
• Declaration of PhD Chemical Sciences 2015 Results: 16th December 2015
• Enrolment: 18th to 19th January 2016

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be called for test and / or interview.
