Course Details:

Master of Chirurgy (MCH), is a three years Postgraduate Plastic Surgery Degree course in India. The course is designed to introduced candidates that how to improve patient's appearance and self-image through both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures also with many other specialties.

The plastic surgery is a medical specialty course that concerned with the correction or restoration of form and function, generally, there are two types of plastic surgery such as, Cosmetic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery. The Master specializes study develops good judgment technical expertise in candidates to have steady hands, a sense of ethics and good interpersonal skills to work with patients. The study prepares candidates to diagnose illnesses in adults based on the analysis of history, physical examination, and investigative work with high order in explaining management and prognosis, providing counseling and giving health education messages to patients, families and communities.

The master’s surgical study develops skills and expertise in implementing in inclusionary practices and differentiated instruction techniques to help one with special learning needs.The study improves the knowledge, mental ability and an aptitude to think logically techniques.The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Principles, Techniques such as Basic Science of Microsurgery, Skin and Soft Tissue, Congenital Anomalies and Pediatric Plastic Surgery, Head and Neck, Aesthetic Surgery, Breast, Trunk and Lower Extremity, Hand, Thermal, Chemical and Electric Injuries.

Eligibility

The candidate who have completed Bachelor Medical Degree, such as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Master’s of Surgery (MS), or an Equivalent Examination with minimum 50% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Plastic Surgery Degree course or in Master's Medical study program.

Entrance Examination

In India, it is mandatory to give an additional Medical Entrance Examination like Common Entrance Test (CET) which are conducted by Medical Council of India (MCI). The eligibility is based on Merit. Some Medical Institute also takes entrance test or interview and asked few questions on General Knowledge, Personality, Intelligence Assessment and English Language.

Course Duration & Learning Mode

The medical study requires 3 years of the time period with the internship in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course. The study provides Doctor qualification in advance Medicines and Plastic Surgery. The course is not available for part-time and under distance education mode as it's a practical based study.

Career Option

After the successful completion of Master of Chirurgy (MCH), study program one can recognize as Surgeon or Plastic Surgeon. The prefix of Dr. before One’s name commands respect achieved itself. Master’s Medical Degree holder have excellent career opportunities in Medicine and Surgery, the profession in both Private and Government Sector. One can work as Burns & Plastic Surgery Doctor, Professor (Plastic Surgery), Reader (Plastic Surgery), Plastic Surgeon (Hair Transplantation), Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Chief Medical Representative, Dermatologist, Clinical Support Specialist, Clinical Application Specialist, etc.
