Note:
An overall merit list of candidates has been prepared according to their CLAT score along with their categories. In addition, state specific and all India merit lists will be prepared for various categories of candidates’ like- unreserved/SC/ST/OBC/Women/SAP etc.

About CLAT:
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a non-statutory body created under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the convenience of the students seeking admission to various National Law Universities in the country. An entrance test is conducted to provide a list of candidates on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference’ to each University for admission to their UG/PG programmes, as per the eligibility, reservation and other criteria laid down under the respective statutes of the participating Universities.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), is an all India entrance examination, conducted on rotation by 17 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate degree programmes.

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab was established at Patiala in the year 2006 by the State Legislature by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, Act, 2006. The University is registered with the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. It has the approval of the Bar Council of India for imparting professional legal education.
