CEPT University Ahmedabad invites applications for Masters Degree Course Admissions 2016

CEPT University, Ahmedabad invites applications for admissions to Masters Degree Course for the academic year 2016- 17.

Masters Degree Course is conducted by CEPT University, Ahmedabad.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
Master of Architecture
- Bachelors degree in Architecture (B. Arch) or equivalent recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks for general category candidates and 50% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates. (Two years of experience is desirable)

Master of Landscape Architecture
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Planning or equivalent from any recognized University or Institution.
- The minimum requirement to apply for the programs is 55% aggregate marks for general category candidates and 50% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates in the undergraduate program. Two years of experience in the profession and/or teaching after graduation is desirable.

Master of Landscape Design
- Master’s degree in any of the disciplines like Botany, Ecology, Horticulture, Geography, Agriculture, Forestry, Geology, Hydrology or similar natural sciences.
- Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor’s Degree in 4-year courses – Planning, Civil Engineering and Interior Design from recognized Universities.
- The minimum requirement to apply for the programs is 55% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks for reserved category) in the undergraduate program. Individual performance in final year thesis or dissertation will be considered. Two years’ professional and/or teaching experience along with computer drawing skills like CADD software are desirable.

Master of Interior Architecture & Design
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or Design or equivalent, awarded upon completion of a course of minimum four years duration, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture recognized by the Council of Architecture, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology (five-year program), OR
- Diploma in Interior Design of four years duration (12 + 4), provided that the program is considered equivalent to a four-year degree program by the Equivalence Committee of CEPT University

International Master of Interior Architectural Design
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or Design or equivalent, awarded upon completion of a course of minimum four years duration, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture recognized by the Council of Architecture, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology (five-year program), OR
- Diploma in Interior Design of four years duration (12 + 4), provided that the program is considered equivalent to a four-year degree program by the Equivalence Committee of CEPT University

Master of Design Furniture Design
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture recognized by the Council of Architecture, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (four years or more), OR
- Diploma and/or Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or Design of minimum four years duration (12 + 4), provided that the program is considered equivalent to a degree program by the Equivalence Committee of CEPT University
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering (minimum 4 years program)

Master of Habitat Management
- Recognized Bachelor’s degree from any stream with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks for General category candidates and 50% aggregate marks for reserved categories candidates.

Master of Urban and Regional Planning
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Architecture / Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering / Planning/ Law or
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Geography / Economics / Sociology / Environmental Science / Social Work / Development Studies / Policy Studies / Political Science

Master of Technology in Construction Engineering & Management
- Applicants for the M.Tech. program in the general category should have a minimum of 55 % aggregate marks and those in the reserved categories should have a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering / Construction Technology / Architecture / Environmental Engineering from a recognized University / Institution.

Master of Technology in Structural Engineering Design
- Applicants for the M.Tech. program in the general category should have a minimum of 55 % aggregate marks and those in the reserved categories should have a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering / Construction Technology / Architecture / Environmental Engineering from a recognized University / Institution.

Master of Technology in Infrastructure Engineering Design
- Applicants for the M.Tech. program in the general category should have a minimum of 55 % aggregate marks and those in the reserved categories should have a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering / Construction Technology / Architecture / Environmental Engineering from a recognized University / Institution.

Master of Technology in Geomatics
- Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology in – Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Agriculture, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology.
- Bachelor of Architecture or Planning
- Masters of – Basic Science, Earth Science, Climate Science, Environment Science, Information Technology, Disaster Management, M A in Geography

Master of Technology in Building Energy Performance
- Applicants for M. Tech. BEP program in the general category should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and those in the reserved categories should have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Construction Technology / Architecture / Interior Design or Interior Architecture (five-year programs only) or Master of Science in Physics from a recognized university/institution will be eligible to apply to the program

Centre For Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) University
Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology University (CEPT University) was established in 1962, under the tutelage of Prof. B.V. Doshi. It is now under the Faculty of Architecture. The programme at the School includes the study of Humanities, Arts, Technology and the Disciplines of Design. Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) has been accorded the status of a university by an Act of 2005 passed by the Gujarat State Legislative Assembly and is now called CEPT University.
