Central University of Kerala, Vidyanagar announces PhD Programme 2016

Central University of Kerala, Vidyanagar invites applications for admissions to Ph.D Programme for the academic year 2016- 17.

Ph.D Programme admission is conducted by Central University of Kerala, Vidyanagar.

Courses Offered:

Ph.D Programme in:-
Chemistry, Linguistics, Genomic Science, Animal Science, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Environmental Science, English and Comparative Literature, Economics, International Relations and Politics, Plant Science, Computer Science, Social Work, Education, Hindi, Mathematics and Physics.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
- Candidates seeking registration to the doctoral programme shall have passed the Master's degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant subject with 55% marks in the qualifying examination, or with a CGPA of 6.0 in the 10 point scale, provided that a candidate belonging to SC/ ST community shall be eligible for concession up to 5% marks.

Application Procedure:

Submit the duly filled-up form along with DD for Rs.1000/-(for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates, Rs.500/- only) drawn in favour of Registrar, Central University of Kerala payable at Periye/ Kasaragod to the Head of the Department concerned.

Fee Details:

Application fee is Rs.1000/-(for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates, Rs.500/- only)

• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 24th June, 2016

Selection Process:

All candidates, whose applications for registration to the doctoral programme are found to be in order, will be required to take the Doctoral Entrance Test (DET) conducted by the University Department concerned.
