Eligibility Criteria
- At least 55% marks in B. Sc. (Hons.) in Physics / Electronics/ Chemistry with Mathematics as one of the General Subjects.
- Candidates seeking Calcutta University admission to the BTech course must meet the eligibility criteria as per the university guidelines.
- Eligible candidates need to apply and appear for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or JEE Main.
- A Merit List will be released by the University as per the WBJEE rank/JEE Main rank.
- Selected candidates will be called for the counselling process and seats will be allotted based on their WBJEE rank.
- Candidates need to apply to the programme by visiting the official website of the university. The process of applying to the course will be entirely online.
- After applying to the course, students need to take a printout of the form and report to the university.

- The candidates desirous to seek admission to be required to apply on the prescribed form online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.
- Admitted candidates have to Submit Printed copy of Application Form and e- Receipt after deposition of application along with relevant testimonials as per notice available in the website.

Selection Procedure
- Vacant seat of previous year of 1st Year of 4 Yr. B.Tech. to be filled up from respective merit lists of B.Sc. (Hons.) candidates of current year as many as feasible following CSR/15/15 of 4 Yr. B.Tech. course.
