The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) conducts MD/MS Ayurveda Entrance Exam. The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE), was set up primarily for conducting entrance examinations for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate professional programmes in Jammu and Kashmir.
The duration of the MD/MS Ayurveda degree/ Programme shall be three academic years including the period of examination or as per norms of the affiliating university.

The candidate seeking admission to the MD/MS Ayurveda through the entrance examination must:
The application fees is Rs. 1600/. The candidates applying for Entrance Test for Admission to MD/MS Ayurveda in Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research has to pay this. The examination fee is non-refundable.
The candidate should apply through online mode only. There is no offline mode. Application form can be obtained by paying the application fees through Online generated Customised Bank Receipt for transfer of the said amount in the BOPEE's HDFC Bank Account. Application form is also avialable in the official at following addresses.

Candidates should read the instructions and procedures carefully before you start filling up the form.
The candidates should complete the registeration form in all respects, and then submit. Candidates are advised to take printout of Application Form (Confirmation Page) and paste his/her two recent photographs (as given at point 8 below), sign in the specified box and send this Application Form ( confirmation page) along with Demand Draft by Registered/Speed Post/By Hand/ (NOT BY COURIER) to
J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations,Attested Photostat copies of the following certificates should be attached with the office copy ofthe filled up application form(Confirmation Page in Original) strictly in the below given order:
The entrance examination shall consist of one question paper only of two hours duration. The question paper shall contain 150 Questions with four answer options to every question. Only one of the four answer option is correct. Question Paper is based on latest BAMS syllabus approved by Ayush/ CCIM.
The question paper shall be objective type containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s), spread over the whole syllabus. It contains several pages stapled together in one cover. The questions are based on knowledge, understanding and application of the relevant subject that a BAMS graduate student is expected to know.

The admit card will be available on the website for download. The dates for the issuance of admit cards shall be announced through a separate notification to be published in at least two leading English newspapers of the State. The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.
Electronic Admit card is an extremely important document. It should not be mutilated, defaced or any entry of it changed in any manner which makes it doubtful.
The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes. Candidates shall have to preserve Electronic Admit Cards till the allotment of seats/completion of selection/admission process.
The merit lists shall be prepared on the basis of inter-use merit of the candidates in the entrance examination in the descending order.
Soon after entrance examination, answer key will be displayed on the official website of the BOPEE for two days. Complete merit list shall be put on the website of the Board (www.jakbopee.org or jakbopee.net) along with candidates provisionally recommended for selection.
