Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants from any of the other Indian education boards recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (This covers CBSE, CISCE, and State Education Boards recognized by AIU)
  • The minimum aggregate score of 60% in class XII. Candidates should have mandatorily passed Physics, Mathematics, English, and any one subject out of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices.
  • Valid score of JEE Main/ SAT. Our DI Code for SAT applicants is – 7534
  • has appeared in JEE (Main)/ SAT / BMU-SAT
  • has a minimum percentile of 60 in JEE (Mains)
  • Students with JEE Main percentile less than 60 but more than 50 are also eligible if they have at least 70% marks as an aggregate in class XII. Candidates should have mandatorily passed Physics, Mathematics, English, and anyone subject out of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices.
  • The applicant should be a citizen of India.
  • Applicant should have passed the 10+2 examination.
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) students are required to have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class XII and have a valid score of JEE Main/ SAT. Our DI Code for SAT applicants is – 7534
  • Cambridge/IGCSE board students are required to have 3 A-levels, studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at Class XII level, and have a valid score of JEE Main/ SAT. Our DI Code for SAT applicants is – 7534
  • If you have taken the SAT or ACT exams in addition to JEE, submitting those scores to BML Munjal University will enhance your chances of selection. Our DI Code for SAT applicants is – 7534. All applicants applying with SAT/ ACT scores need to send us their official score reports as well.
  • Applicants who are Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Residential Indians (NRIs)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) must have passed the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and must submit their JEE Main/ SAT score. Application Process

  • Eligible candidates can apply online through official website https://www.bmu.edu.in/courses/b-tech/
  • Admission to B. Tech programmes shall be conducted through two modes. Applicants are required to fill application form one time only and on the basis of a single application form, they can seek admission through any mode, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

Admission Process

  • Admission to B.Tech programmes shall be conducted through two modes. Applicants are required to fill application form one time only and on the basis of a single application form, they can seek admission through any mode, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
  • Mode – 1: (Based on JEE Main score) for 75% of the total available seats for the B.Tech Programme
  • 75% of the total seats shall be filled on the basis of percentile-based merit of JEE Main .
  • A list of qualified candidates shall be displayed on the website as per the announced counseling calendar.
  • In the final round of counseling, any seat remaining vacant through Mode-1 shall be filled through Mode-2 and vice versa.
  • Mode – 2: (Based on 10+2 marks in PCM and BMU-SAT) for 25% of the total available seats for the B.Tech programme The students applying under this mode of admission have to mandatorily appear for the BMU Entrance Examination BMU-SAT, irrespective of whether they have appeared for JEE (Mains) examination or not.25% of the total seats for the B.Tech programme shall be filled on basis of merit of the combination of the following:
  • Marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology and Technical Vocational subject. (75% weightage to these marks)
  • The marks obtained in the entrance examination BMU-SAT conducted by BMU. (25% weightage to these marks)
  • The list of qualified candidates as per the merit list shall be displayed on the website as per the announced counseling calendar.
  • In the final round of counseling, any seat remaining vacant through Mode-1 shall be filled through Mode-2 and vice versa.
