- A graduate of any recognized university with 50% or more marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Scope of M.Sc (SLP)
With a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (B.ASLP), professionals are certified to practice Audiology and Speech and language pathology in various clinical and academic set ups. Masters of Science (Audiology) provides an in depth theoretical knowledge, disorders specific evidence based
clinical training for the following.
Audiology:
• Diagnosis of auditory disorders (from birth to senescence)
• Physiological and Electrophysiological tests including advances in brainstem responses and cortical evoked potentials
• Selection of technologically advanced features of hearing aids suitable as per the characteristics of hearing loss
• Appropriate planning and implementation of Management strategies for children and adults post fitting of hearing devices
• Selection of candidates for implantable devices, intraoperative testing and post implant rehabilitation
• Assessment and management of Central Auditory Processing Disorders
• Assessment of Vestibular disorders such as caloric test, video head impulse test, VEMP, SVV, oculomotor and saccade test
• Management of Vestibular disorders
• Assessment and management of Hyperactive disorders of the Auditory system such as tinnitus, hyperacusis, misophonia

Admission Procedure
- M.Sc.(Audiology) ET- 2022 & M.Sc.(SLP)ET-2022 are ranking examinations for admission to First Year Master of Science (Audiology) & Master of Science (Speech Language Pathology) courses respectively, which are two separate post graduate programs for 2022-23 academic session.
- Applicant may kindly note that mere appearance in the computer based online entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the College. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, any such criteria as may be prescribed by the University and availability of seats to the particular programme and College at the time of counseling.
- Applications of candidates producing false or fabricated information will not be considered
- Before initiating online registration process, candidates should go through the Information brochure carefully for eligibility criteria, and pattern of examination etc. The information brochure shall be available at www.bvuniversity.edu.in
- Incomplete online application, if not in accordance with instructions, will not be considered and processed. Applicant should carefully fill up all the fields during online application process and complete the payment process. Application once submitted finally, cannot be withdrawn/modified.
- The computer based online entrance test fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates who remain absent for the computer based online entrance test will for feit their computer based online entrance test fee.
- The Information brochure is subject to modification without notice, please check the website regularly for updations, if any.
- The authorities of the College reserves the right to withdraw permission, if any, granted inadvertently to any candidate who is not eligible to appear in the computer based online entrance test even though Admit card/Registration number has been issued.
- The Admissions provided to candidates based on the result of the computer based online entrance test will be purely provisional and subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information brochure.
- Under no circumstance a change in computer based online entrance test centre once selected by the candidate will be allowed.
- Candidates MUST bring the following documents to the computer based online entrance test centre – (a) Printed copy of Admit Card (b) Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired): Aadhaar Card /PAN card/Driving license/Voter ID/Passport. The name on the photo identification must match with the name as shown on the Admit card. Candidate reporting to computer based online entrance test center without the above said requisite documents shall not be allowed to appear for the computer based online entrance test.
- All the correspondence should preferably be addressed by e-mail. The e-mail query shall be addressed only if it is not anonymous and not vague.
- Candidates are deemed to have read, agreed and accepted the terms and conditions in the Information brochure and on completing the online registration/application form for the entrance test.
- In case differences of opinion or any ambiguity in interpretation and implementation of any of the instructions/terms/rules/criteria regarding the determination of eligibility/conduct of examinations/registration of candidates/ information contained herein, the same shall be referred to the Vice Chancellor of the Bharati Vidyapeeth and his decision shall be final and binding on all concerned.
