Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Mumbai announces One-year Post-M.Sc Program Admission 2016

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Mumbai invites applications for admissions to One-year Post-M.Sc Program for the academic year 2016- 17.

One-year Post-M.Sc Program is conducted by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Mumbai

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
- To the Diploma R.P. Course is M.Sc (Physics) with not less than 60% marks in aggregate

- The basic qualification for applying to this course is M.Sc (Physics); the candidates should have scored minimum of 60% marks (aggregate) in B.Sc as well as in M.Sc (Physics)

- In case of grade system, grade to percentage of marks conversion scheme obtained from University should be submitted along with the application failing which application will not be considered

- In addition to the above qualification, the sponsored candidates should have at least one-year working experience in a Radiotherapy Dept. in India

- The sponsored candidates should also submit a documentary evidence of availing personal monitoring service from BARC/accredited laboratories; those who await the results of M.Sc, (Physics) may also apply

- If appearing candidates are selected for admission to DipRP course, they should submit their M.Sc Degree mark sheets by 30th October 2016, failing which their candidature may be terminated

- The upper age limit as on 01st August 2016 - General Category 26 years, OBC - 29 years & SC/ST 31 years; or for Physically challenged (PH) candidates, there is a relaxation of age by up to 10 years

Application Procedure:

- Interested candidates should submit their applications along with a processing fee of Rs.200/-

- With regard to payment of Application Fee, the candidate may download the three fold challan from the BARC website and make the payment in any branch of the State Bank of India from 01st April to 29th April 2016

- Candidates shortlisted for interview will have to produce original challan at the time of interview

- The SC/ST applicants, Dependents of Defense Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA), Women candidates and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from payment of application fee

- Applications complete in all respect should be sent to the Dy. Establishment Officer (R-II), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Mumbai-400085

One-year Post-M.Sc Program Important dates section aims to list all important dates such as date of availability of form, last submission date, result date, counselling date, etc.

  • Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 29th April 2016

Selection Process:

- Selection of non-sponsored candidates is based on written test followed by an interview
- The candidates who are eligible to participate in the written test will be short-listed based on the merit and such candidates will be informed well in advance
