Bachelor of Vocation (BVoc Fashion Technology)

This three-year bachelor’s degree course will enable students for working dexterously and efficiently as assistants to professional fashion designers, costume designers, fashion coordinators/illustrators, fashion journalists, product development managers, fashion trend and forecast analysts, etc, in companies engaged in the fields of garments and apparel fashion. All requisite information and training are imparted to students for designing diverse garments to suit different contemporary requirements and prevailing trends in the fashion industry. The topics covered are fashion designing concepts, selection of the best fabrics for specific requirements, clothing for specified body shapes and sartorial elegance, fashion communication, techniques and processes for draping and manufacturing garments, etc.
