Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak, a private self-financed university, blossomed under the aegis of Shri Baba Mastnath Math, Asthal Bohar in 2012 through an Ordinance of the Government of Haryana under Haryana Private Universities Act-2006. After thorough inspection by an expert panel of UGC members, the University was accorded approval under Section 2(f). With more than 5000 students and around 200+ faculty members, the University offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral Programmes in streams, like Ayurveda(B.A.M.S), Physiotherapy, Nursing, Sciences, Pharmacy, Humanities, Management & Commerce, Law, Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Engineering, Education, Mass Media, Computer Sciences, Languages like Hindi, Sanskrit and English, Social Work, Medical and Para-Medical, Pharmacy, Life and Basic Sciences through the following faculties:

        The University Library functions as General and Departmental Libraries. The General Library block has three floors. Ground floor is the OERC (Online Education Research Centre). First floor is the Stack Room and Computer Area. Second floor is the Reading Room and EDUSAT Centre. The College Library has a good collection of about 148000 books. The General Library subscribes 40 Periodicals and 11 Newspapers. The Library has a special collection of books for NET Exams on all subjects.

        Physical fitness is a key component of life on the campus and thus there is a heavy emphasis on sports and athletics. As a student, you will have access to a wide range of sports facilities such as Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volley Ball, Badminton, and Table Tennis. You will also have the opportunity to become part of the team's of University’s teams and participate in inter-college or inter-university competitions. The University has a well-established and equipped sports complex with other indoor sports facilities. Sports activities are conducted from time to time as per the calender circulated by the Director Sports/Dean Students Welfare during the Session.
        The University has 2 Auditorium ,both are fully functional, Centrally Air Conditioned with a seating capacity of more then 1600 persons. The auditorium has a state of the art audio-visual system and a multi-functional lighting arrangement. The sound proof auditorium hosts numerous event including cultural programmes, lectures and college annual function . All the major functions, assembly and various competitions are held in these auditoriums.
        We have separate hostel for boys and girls accommodating capacity of 500 boys and 200 girls. Single room accommodation is given to the final year and PG students. They are also permitted to use their computers in their own rooms. The mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen. Separate seating arrangements are made for boys and girls.

        Rules of Hostel


        Students must occupy the rooms allotted to them by the Warden
        Students should refrain from anti-social and undesirable activities such as consumption of alcohol, tobacco, gambling, ragging etc.
        Students are responsible for the cleanliness of their rooms.
        No student will be allowed to leave the hostel by giving telephonic information
        Parents are requested to give a list of authorized visitors/local guardians. No Visitor will be permitted to visit students in the hostel if his/her name does not figure in the list given by parents
        Students will be permitted to go home only if the university is closed continuously for five days or more.
        Any student wishing to attend a function at home like marriage or any other ceremony will be permitted to go only if the request is made by the parents to the warden.
        Visitors are allowed on holidays from 11.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M.

        Eye Hospital


        The Campus has a famous Eye Hospital, started in 1948. The hospital has been rendering commendable services to the people of Northern India. Every year around 1,00,000 patients are being treated free of cost. The hospital is having state-of-art gadgets and equipments. The bed occupency of the hospital is nearly 60.

        General Hospital


        There is also a General Hospital attached to SBMN Ayurvedic College, providing zero cost treatment to the patients of nearby area and the students of the University. In the Ayurvedic Hospital, PANCHKARMA is a punficatory and rejuvenating therapy . It deals With five types of Karma Le. Vamam. Virechana, Bash which is of two types Anuvasam end Ninth: and finally Nagy: It also inciudes Raktamokxham Qnehana and Swaedena are the pre-purificatory therapies Le. ‘ the procedure which is done before the above ’ said panchkarma therapies. I

        Dental


        There is a Dental hospital which was started in 1997. It has 121 Dental chairs with all It has also the most impotant dental equipments like RVG and OPG. Nearly 100 patients are provided consultation and treatment in Out Pateients Department daily

        Physiotherapy


        The University has a Physiotherapy Hospital also, having the facilities for treatment of all types of pains, disabilities and Injuries like sports injury, musculoskeletal injuries, nerve related Injuries like hemiplegia, diplegia, quadriplegia and nerve damage, birth related anomalies etc.. Physiotherapy is an ultra modern technique to promote mobility, improve impairment and quality of life by using physical methods like exercise, moblization, manipulation, pressure, temperature (hot or cold), vibration, electric stimulus etc. The hospital consists of different department like Neruo-rehabilitation, Sports-training, General Rehabilitation, Electrotherapy, Exercise Therapy etc. The hospital has state-of-the-art equipment for physiotherapeutic treatment. More then 100 patients are provided consulation In Out Patients Department per day.
        The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps with its Headquarters at New Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis. National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during selections based on the achievements in the corps.
        The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a programme organised by the Ministry of Education and Youth Services of the Government of India to offer opportunities and training in service to the community and the nation for students with an aptitude. It is intended to involve the college students in a variety of social services and developmental activities concomitantly with the normal academic programme. The motto of the scheme is “Education through Community Service”Students of the first and second year Degree classes are eligible for admission. A total of 300 students will be enrolled in our university units which will be under the control of Programme Officers.
        If a student obtains 1st Rank in Academics/Sports/NSS/NCC, he/she will be honored by the roll of honor. The university shall acknowledge the rankers of each program(Specialization-wise wherever applicable) by awarding them medals to be distributed at the of Convocation. Students shall also be appreciated by awarding Certificates to those who pass with distinction or such other criteria as may be approved by the Board of Management.
