It was established on 12th January 1949 by Late King Shrimant Balasaheb Pantpratinidhi. The eminent personalities like Shantanurao Kirloskar, Sane Guruji, G.D. Madgulkar, Shankarao Kharat, V.D. Madgulkar, N, S. Inamdar, K.N. Vatave, Pandit Satawalekar and Shri. Madhukar Pathak, who is famous for their outstanding work in different fields, took their primary and secondary education from this Aundh Shikshan Mandal Aundh.
