All of us aware of the proverb “ Pen is mightier than Sword “. But how this sword has been replaced by rod. Let me answer all your doubts. Nagpur police is trying to sort out problems caused by mob at accident sites with pen and paper. The idea is very innovative and i am a proud nagpurian to announce that we have given to wiser ways of solving problems than using Rod. Lets find out how ?

Its a common sight to see mobs accumulating at the spot of road accident. The don't move and stay there. They are not ready to vacate the site. It creates lots of problems for police personnel to do their job. Inspite of repeated requests the crowd accumulates. Nagpur's police now uses pen and paper to write down names of witnesses who were present to take their statements. None of them are ready to enter their names and give excuses that they were not present. They are then and there asked to leave. This leads to mob dispersal. Wow what an innovative idea.

Its a very creative idea because when people don't listen by lathi charge or words its always good to take out pen and paper and drive the gathering away. “But prevent yourself doing this on an angry mob or else others will be attending your funeral next day”, says a police constable.

Great idea. I am reminded of the advertisement by Abhishek Bachchan - “ An idea can change your life “.
