Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is the national level aptitude test conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI). XAT is conducted for admission to business management (BM), Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) programmes. Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur is ranked amongst the top five B-school in India and it conducts XAT.
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) Examination is divided into two parts.
=> Part A is objective type in nature
=> Part B comprise of essay type questions
Part A is of 2 hours and 20 minutes duration which consists of Quantitative Ability, English Language Ability & Logical Reasoning and Decision Making.
Part B of the exam consists of Essay Writing and General Awareness. Duration of this section is 40 minutes. Questions in General Awareness is from Business, Economics and Politics related to Business Environment. You have to attempt both essay as well as General Awareness section.
XAT 2016 Exam Pattern is expected to be similar to that of last year. More than 90,000 candidates took the test in 2015. The cutoff for XAT is decided on the basis of the difficulty level of the test.
Total duration of XAT is of 3 hours.
