Eligibility Criteria

- As per AICTE the eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering is 50% in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). Further, the qualifying degree (Professional courses) obtained under distance mode must have AICTE approval.

- As per the Pharmacy council of India, the eligibility criterion for admission into M. Pharmacy Courses is 55% for OC&BC category and 50% for SC & ST.

M.Tech (Computer Science & Technology)
- B.E/B.Tech/MSc in Information Systems/Maths/Applied Maths /Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Statistics, MCA of ANUR or its equivalent, AMIE,
with diploma in the relevant branch

M.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering
- B.Tech-ECE, B.Tech-EIE or equivalent

M.Tech Bio-Technolgy
- B.Tech. (BioTechnology/Chemical Engg/Food Technology/Agriculture Engg) B.Pharmacy, B.Sc. (agriculture/Veterinary Sci.)BHMS, and MSc in botony, zoology, microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, environmental science, Genetics, life sciences, food technology, nutrition, molecular biology, genetic engineering, immunology, chemistry

Graduate Level Pharm-D (PB) course:
Please note that this is a Graduate level 3-year program (UG) in Pharmacy with B.Pharmacy as entry qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. Candidates qualified in APPGECET 2017 only will be eligible for admission into the course on the basis of merit. Eligibility:
1. The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2. The Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
3. The Candidate should satisfy the local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulations of admission.
4. For Engineering courses, candidate should obtain at least 50% marks (45% in case candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
5. For Pharmacy Courses, candidate should obtain at least 55% marks (50% in case candidate belonging to SC & ST category) in the qualifying examination.

The application/ registration fee for the test is Rs. 300/- in case of SC/ST

How to Apply

Online Application form can be downloaded from official website of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada

- Eligible candidates who wish to apply for AP PGECET - 2017 may submit their applications through online mode only. The related information regarding eligibility, syllabi, instructions and procedure for online application are available on the website: www.appgecet.org or www.jntuk.edu.in.

Exam Cities

AP PGECET 2017 will be held at six different regional centers in the state i.e.,
- Visakhapatnam
- Kakinada
- Vijayawada
- Guntur
- Tirupathi
- Anantapuram

Paper Pattern

- Test is of two hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying one mark for each question. The cut-off mark in the Common Entrance Test is 25%, in case of SC/ST there is no minimum marks.

- The examination will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon in the morning session and 2.00PM to 4.00 PM for the afternoon sessions as per the Time Table given in Test Schedule.

- The Question Papers will be in English only

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

The Hall-Tickets are to be downloaded from the website http://www.appgecet.org/appgecetrc.aspx. Without Hall-Tickets the candidate will not be allowed into the test centre.

The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.

The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.

Cutoff

Candidates have who score more than cut off Marks would feature in the merit list. Candidates names included in the merit list will be called for counselling rounds. Candidates can check previous years cut off marks to get an idea of Cut off for the current year as cut off will be declared after the declaration of Result.

Answer Key

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada declare the official answer key for AP PGECET exam. Candidates can check their answers by subject wise in the official website. If there any complaints in the marks the candidates send their doubts before the last date.
