Andhra University, Visakhapatnam invites applications for admissions to PG Diploma / Diploma (Evening Courses) for the academic year 2021 - 22.

Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam invites applications for admission into various courses offered in Campus Colleges of Arts & Commerce for the academic year 2021-2022.

PG Diploma / Diploma (Evening Courses) Admission is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. PG Diploma/Diploma (Evening courses ): Admissions into various PG Diploma and Diploma Courses will be processed as per the merit order in the qualifying examination marks in each category.


2 years + (6 months compulsory internship)


PG Diploma : 120 Seats
Diploma (Evening Courses) : 400 Seats

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria for Diploma Courses:
- Intermediate Examination or its equivalen
i) Intermediate Pass & 4 years Govt. Certificate course in subject concern. Or
ii) 4 years learning certificate from a Regd. Institute which has a standing of at least 5 years. Or
iii)4 years Learning Certificate from a Reputed, Regular graded artists. All India Radio for Music & Doordarsan for Dance.

Rs.500/- PG Diploma and Diploma Courses

Application Procedure:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. published details for informational purpose.

i) Candidates are required to down load the appropriate application form (Form - V) and the Information Brochure - II from the website

ii) A demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, A.U. Common Entrance Test & Admission Account from any Nationalised Bank payable at Visakhapatnam for the amount as per the details given below should be enclosed towards registration and Processing fee. Rs.500/- PG Diploma and Diploma Courses (Separate application and DD for each course) - Form – V

iii) Duly filled in application should accompany with attested copies of the following certificates.
a. Pass certificate / Degree Provisional or Original Certificate of the qualifying examination.
b. Marks statements of the qualifying examination.
c. Date of birth certificate (S.S.C. or equivalent certificate).
d. Study certificates for the last 7 Years of study or residence certificate in case of private study.
e. Integrated Community certificate issued by competent authority in case of SC/ST/BC candidates.
f. Demand Draft towards registration and processing fee.
g. Office of the Directorate of Admissions is not responsible for the non-receipt of applications sent by Post / Courier or late receipt of applications due to postal delay or for any reason what so ever.
h. Incomplete applications are liable to be summarily rejected.
i. Candidates have to pay the examination fee separately at the time of applying for
