Welcome to Andhra Christian College (ACC), an institution rendering 120 years of glorius service to the cause of education. ACC is a coeducational college of liberal arts and sciences. Founded in 1842 as a small Anglo-vernacular school, it evolved into a Second-Grade College in 1885.

Since then, it has relentlessly persued its mission to disseminate truth, providing education to all irrespective of caste, creed, religion and race and, producing in the process, outstanding individuals who went on to serve their country, with great sense of civic responsibility, in the areanas of public service, administration, politics, education, industry and social welfare.

Some of the ideals that guide ACC are to give equal opportunities to women students, enable students develop open mindedness, to emphasise the practise of testing all information and conclusions to develop creative scholarship and to respect the dignity and sacredness of human personality.

While cherishing its unique history through commemorating events like Golden Jubilee of one its hostels, Silver Jubilee of its Alumni Association etc., the college is continuously progressing in its pirsuit of excellence by offering new UG and PG courses as well as adding modern infrasctucture to its enviable facilities.

AC College was founded with the mission of providing the youth of the country in general, and of Guntur and the other districts of Andhra Pradesh in particular, the high type of Christian education. It seeks to implant in its students, those truths which can rise men to a purer and nobler life and which are efficacious in the building up of character. Its sponsors trust that the men and women trained here will be filled with that spirit of service and inspired by those ideals of life which will lead them to dedicate their lives and talents to the best interest of their fellows and their country.
