Army Institute of Management & Technology MBA Admissions

AIMT, Greater Noida has been established to conduct MBA program in a fully residential campus. The first batch of students joined the institute in Aug 2004. The institute is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The campus can accommodate nearly 500 students at its peak capacity. The institute has all modern learning tools/facilities and aims to provide top class management and education to the students. The campus also has a residential complex to house all its teaching and nonteaching staff. The institute is set to become one of the premiere professional colleges of the country.

Eligibility

The admission to the MBA programme at AIMT Greater NOIDA is exclusively open for the dependent wards of serving / retired Army personnel. For the purpose of their admission to the MBA programme the sons / daughters of serving/ retired Army personnel are considered dependent till their marriage or employment whichever is earlier.

Age Limit

The candidate should be below 35 years of age on 1st July of appearing year.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in (either of them):

  • Any Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU),
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto,
  • Passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of company Secretaries of India.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam (Graduation Final Year) are also eligible to apply.

Written Test and Selection Process

All candidates are required to appear in any one of the following entrance tests:

Those desirous of seeking admission to AIMT, Greater NOIDA are required to obtain both bulletins with the application form and the Information Brochure/Prospectus of the Institute. These are required to be submitted before the scheduled cut off dates.

Application Procedure

1) The candidates can download the application form online at www.aimt.ac.in.

2) The Candidates can obtain the Information Brochure / Prospectus for MBA programmefrom the Registrar, AIMT by hand by sending their requisition along with a demand draft for Rs.750/- in favour of Army Institute of Management & Technology payable at Greater NOIDA. Rs.50/- is to be added, if the information Brochure/prospectus is required by post.

Merit List

The Final Merit List will be available at the office of Registrar AIMT and on the institute website. Final Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT scores, and GD & PI as per u/m weight-

=> CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT Score - 50%
=> GD & PI - 50%

Army Institute Of Management & Technology (AIMT) was established by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) in 2004 in the emerging futuristic hi tech city of Greater Noida. AWES has so far established 127 Army Schools and 13 professional colleges. Designed to capture the increasing needs of industry for Management and Computer-Application professionals for the benefit of the wards of Army personnel, a sprawling new campus of the Institute was constructed over an area of 15.34 acres.
