AIIMS New Delhi announces MSc Courses Admission 2016

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi invites applications for admissions to MSc Courses for the academic year 2016- 17.

MSc Courses is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

Courses Offered:

- M.Sc Courses: Anatomy (05),
- Biochemistry (05),
- Biophysics (05),
- Pharmacology (05),
- Physiology (05),
- Perfusion Technology (05),
- Reproductive Biology and Clinical Embryology (05),
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (05)
- M. Biotechnology (60 Seats**)

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
M.Sc/M.Biotechnology:
The candidates must posses one of the following qualifications and have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying exam:
- MBBS/BDS with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) or B.V.Sc/B.Pharma/B.Sc Degree (3 years) with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
B.V.Sc., B.Pharmacy

Note: The admission requirements for M.Sc Anatomy, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Physiology, Pharmacology and M.Biotechnology are the same as mentioned above, but the requirements for:

i) Perfusion Technology: B.Sc with Biology (Botany & or Zoology) or B.Sc. in Perfusion Technology from a recognized University

ii) Nuclear Medicine: Technology B.Sc degree courses in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized University; or B.Sc degree with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics from a recognized University; or B.Sc in allied/related subject i.e. Radio Diagnosis/ Radiotherapy from a recognized University; or
B.Sc in Life Sciences with Physics as a subject from recognized University

M.Biotechnology
Admission Requirements are same like other M.Sc courses except above two courses. B.Tech (Biotechnology) is also covered under eligibility criteria

Application Procedure:

- All Applicants are required to read the Prospectus and Help Manual carefully before online registration and ensure that no column is left blank. Please save, download and print the Registration Slip

- Online Application form can be downloaded from official website of AIIMS, New Delhi: www.aiimsexams.org

- The cost of Application Form includes the fee for entrance examination which is non-refundable and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained; thecandidate is required to go through the prospectus carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to filling in of the online application form

Online Registration:
- After selecting the online registration, fill the details asked for, step by step and deposit the prescribed fee in the designated Bank through a Challan or debit/credit card. Follow the Instructions scrupulously
- It will be the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that correct address in the Application Form is filled; the Institute will not be responsible for any loss in transit or for incorrect address given by the applicant in the Application Form

Status of Online Registration:
- Acknowledgement with regard to successful Online Registration will be forwarded to applicants email ID
- However, the status of application and Admit Card will be available on AIIMS website www.aiims.edu and www.aiimsexams.org as per the schedule given under "Important dates At a Glance"

General/Unreserved (UR): Rs.1000/-
Other Backward Classes (OBC): Rs.1000/-
Scheduled Caste (SC): Rs.800/-
Scheduled Tribe (ST): Rs.800/-
Orthopedic/Physically Handicapped (OPH): Nil

Mode of Payment: Credit/debit card or Computer Generated Challan form any branch of State Bank of India (SBI)

• Verification of Original documents of short listed candidates before Counselling by Academic Section, AIIMS, New Delhi: 01st August 2016, Monday
• 1st Counselling of all eligible candidates whose documents have been verified on 02nd August 2016
• 2nd Counselling: 16th August 2016, Tuesday
• Open Counselling: 19th September 2016, Monday

M.Biotechnology (at AIIMS, New Delhi)

• Entrance Exam [Only Online Mode]: 09th July 2016, Saturday
