Students of Semester 4 of Batch 2014 of Interior Design Department of IMS DIA, Jhalak Aggarwal, Mayank Bhambotra and Shubham Singh along with their mentors Ms. Neha Jain, Mr. Shashank Aggarwal and Ms. Nidhi Bhasin has participated in The FoAID 2016 held at The Lalit, New Delhi recently. The students have secured 2nd position with the cash prize of Rs. 25,000 in Students Competition Expressions organised during the event.
During this occasion, Ms. Nidhi Bhasin, HOD Interiors, IMS-Design and Innovation Academy said, “We are extremely proud on winning the 2 nd Prize in Students competition Expressions. With this kind of an exposure, our students get a platform and identity in the world of Architects and Interior Designers, Realtors and other related businesses pertaining to the industry. The students had an interactive communication with the top companies of Architects and Interior Designers participating and updated their contacts. Also, there were offers of internships from companies for the students of IMS DIA.”
On their achievement, all three students jointly said, “We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for this wonderful opportunity provided to us at our institute IMS DIA. It is a great moment of pride & honour and our love and passion for interior designing has been concreted by this unique achievement”.
FoAID is one of the biggest Architect and Interior Designers Forum in India. Professionals from all parts of the country participated in this competition. More than 100 students apply for the competition every year. It is one of the most prestigious platforms provided to the fraternity to showcase their talent and creations.
Expressing his views, Ankur Gulati, Dean Marketing and Branding at IMS DIA said, “By sending our students to such prestigious competitions, it provides them confidence and exposure to face the challenges in future.
