Institute of Management Studies, Noida (IMS Noida) hosted International Education Fair 2016

Institute of Management Studies, Noida (IMS Noida) hosted an International Education Fair 2016 in their campus located at Sector 62, Noida recently. Top ranked Universities from Ireland, UK and Canada offered scholarships and courses to students. The University representatives discussed about global education system and counsel on the courses to the students who visited the fair.

During this occasion, Dr. K.J.S Anand, Executive Director of IMS Noida said, “Internationalisation of education is necessary to meet the new challenges faced by students and teachers in present times. IMS Noida is committed towards improvement in education pedagogy and encouraging talented students to get an exposure of global platform under the Government’s new education policy.”

According to Aisling Lennon, of National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland, “Indian students are rich in talent and the university will be looking forward to receive them in large numbers. Also, we would be supporting IMS Noida in this noble endeavor of Internationalisation of education in future as well.”

While addressing the students during the fair, Dr D.J Pati, Dean Academics, IMS Noida said, “Competition for success has increased in present times. The current need of the hour is to promote job oriented education rather than adopting conventional method of education just to pursue a degree. Recently Ministry of Human Resource development (Government of India) made the proposed New Education Policy public, where Internationalisation of education was stressed upon. We support this move and want our students to get global exposure in education.”

The student of IMS Noida demonstrated praiseworthy performance. The top four ranks in three year degree final examination 2017 conducted by Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut were all claimed by girls .The result were declared across various streams.

Dandiya Raas Evening held at IMS Noida
Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida organised a grand Dandiya Raas Evening at their campus located in Sector 62, Noida. The theme of the program was "Dance for the Nation". The unique attraction of the program was the participation of the unprivileged children from nearby villages of Haraula, Nithari, Hoshiarpur who were invited to attend the event. DID Super Moms fame Mrs Preeti Khetan was also present at the event. She also enthralled the audience with her dance on the beats of popular Bollywood music and won the hearts of all.
