The IIS University faculties receive silver medal

Prof. M.K.Sharma, Professor & Dean, Department of Management, Senior Assistant Professor Dr. Shweta Kastiya and Assistant Professor Dr. Deepika Kaurani from the Department of Management of The IIS University conferred with silver medal in a conference held recently in Lucknow.

A three-day 69 th All India Commerce conference was organized by the faculty of Commerce of the University of Lucknow in collaboration with Indian Commerce Association. The theme of the conference was Start-Up India: Opportunities and Challenges.

More than 1500 subject experts from all over the country have presented research paper in the conference out of which 14 belonged to The IIS University. In the conference, Prof. Sharma, Dr. Kastiya and Dr. Kaurani were honoured with Best Business Academic of the Year 2016. They have presented paper on the theme Globalization of Markets: Emerging Challenges and the title of the paper was “An empirical Study on Talent Erosion in the Global Sourcing Landscape with Specific Reference to BPMs Based in Rajasthan.”

Dr. Ashok Gupta, Vice-Chancellor of The IIS University welcomed the participants and gave away best wishes for the achievement.

    The two-day National Conference on “Environmental Pollution: Consequences and Control” organised by The IIS University in collaboration with Indian Association for Air Pollution Control and sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research concluded on Saturday. The first technical session of last day of the conference was based on “Water Pollution: Control and Technologies”. Dr. Urmila Bhrighu from MNIT, Jaipur and Dr. T.K.Joshi, Director, Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi were the invited speakers.
