The Delhi School of Communication (DSC) - PGDPC XXI will be organizing a multi-cultural event called ‘Connexions 2015’ on 30th October 2015at Lok Kala Manch, Lodhi Road.

The annual cultural extravaganza – Connexions is aimed at representing cultures of diverse countries. This project is directed at facilitating an appreciation of global cultures.

DSC's Annual Cultural Fest has been an integral part of the curricula for the last 20 years. Every year students bring alive the history, traditions, song, dance, food and several other aspects of the most dynamic cultures globally. It gives students first-hand experience in research, media buying, client pitches, advertising, event promotion and fundraising – all of which takes a call on the students’ creativity to devise and implement innovations.

This year students were given the opportunity to study more than 10 different cultures and bring alive the diverse cultures. Out of the ten countries, four dynamic cultures have been selected for presentation. These countries are namely -Turkey, Nigeria, Philippines and Canada (Toronto).

Emphasizing the importance of cross-cultural communication in today’s business environment, Prof Ramola Kumar, Dean says,” The global village has become a reality with cultural connects in human dress, drama, art and architecture being shared and adopted across the world.”

This is her message to the students, who are on the threshold of an amazing learning experience.
