Camp on PM’s Suraksha Bandhan scheme organized at The IIS University
State Resource Centre, Jaipur under the Ministry of Human Resource Development organized a two-day camp to spread awareness and felicitate enrolment under ‘Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojana’ (PMSBY) among the staff members and students at The IIS University from Wednesday.
The government rolled out a drive called ‘Suraksha Bandhan’ on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival. The drive aims to take forward the government's objective of creating a universal social security system in the country.
A team comprised members of the State Resource Centre reached the university campus and apprise the students and faculty members about the importance of the scheme.
Mr. Sudhanshu Mohan Jain, Director, State Resource Centre briefed about the campaign and said that the camp at The IIS University is organized under financial inclusion programme in which they are acquainting the students and staff members about the important features of the scheme and pushing them to avail the benefits of the scheme initiated by the Prime Minister.
The students and staff members of the university enthusiastically participated in the campaign and enrolled themselves under government initiated security scheme.
