American Culinary and Cruise Line Academy (ACCLA), based in Margao organised an Oriental Cuisine workshop for individuals of age group 16-25 years recently at their campus. The one day workshop was free and open to individuals from the specified age group.
This workshop provided the participants with an opportunity to get hands on learning experience in preparing selected Chinese and Thai delicacies and also exposed them to the wonderful world of culinary arts. The workshop was conducted by Chef Seby Fernandes and Chef Paul Fernandes, who are the faculty at ACCLA, have worked onboard luxury cruise lines in the capacity of Sous Chef. The campus has a state-of-the-art kitchen, which is designed like the galley (kitchens onboard cruise liners), equipped with latest equipment, so that the students get a complete experience and feel of working in a galley onboard a cruise liner.
