The IIS University pays tribute to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

The IIS University has organized a two days photo exhibition on the life of people’s President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to pay him a tribute for his extraordinary work. The exhibition commenced from Friday has showcased a collection of rare pictures of the achievements and unforgettable memories of Dr. Kalam.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Ashok Gupta on Friday at 10 am and it is open for all the students and faculty members of the university.

The exhibition will also observe the beautiful memories of Dr. Kalam’s visit to the university in 2011. At that time, he had an interaction with the aspiring scientists, students and scholars of the university. Students were not only inspired by his words of wisdom but Missile Man Dr. Kalam has become the role model for them.

  Drishti A photo exhibition by Goa Institute of Management (GIM)

  The students of Goa Institute of Management (GIM) organized Drishti, an exhibition of photographs at Kala Academy in Panjim today . The exhibition showcased photographs in four categories - Nature, Portraits, The Goan Life and Landscapes. The photography exhibition is a creative expression which arose out of the activities of the student group Sprockets who are dedicated to learning photography and film in addition to their business management diploma at the Goa Institute of Management.
