Sumita Rathore won Gold Medal in Shooting Championship

Shooter Sumita Rathore of The IIS University won gold medal in All India Maharaja Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Championship organized by Karni Singh Memorial Trust, Bikaner in July.

Sumita Rathore won the medal in singles 10 meters air pistol competition while in doubles, Sumita Rathore and Aishwarya Shekhawat bagged silver medal.

Vice Chancellor of The IIS University, Dr. Ashok Gupta congratulated the winners and gave best wishes to perform better in future events. However, both the winners have given the credit to their mentor and sports coordinator of the university Dr. Renu Shungloo.

The IIS University celebrates National Sports day with special children on Friday. The Equal Opportunity Cell, Sports Board and National Service Scheme units of The IIS University organized a Para Sports Meet where almost 100 special children from Umang and Disha schools were present.
