The 17th Annual management Festival MOSAIC 2015 organised by International School of Informatics and Management, Technical Campus (IIIM) and FMS – The IIS University commenced on Monday with avidity, passion and thrill. MOSAIC has always been one of the most popular management events in the state. More than 20 management institutes from all over the country are participating in the three day Management fest. The Fest has been created, innovated and conceived to mesmerise and exhilarate intelligent young minds.
The inaugural ceremony “The Fountain Head” was graced by Mr. Mohit Arolkar, Vice President, Genpact. He shared his valuable experience and encouraged the students to invest more time in reading, learning, attaining knowledge besides classroom education that would help in their overall personality development. Mr. Arolkar also suggested that besides academics students should participate in co curricular activities and should try to learn new things that will further help them in enhancing their personality.
Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director IIIM and Vice Chancellor, The IIS University welcomed the chief guest, participants and encouraged them to partake with full zeal and zest and above all enjoy the Fest.
MOSAIC – 2015 is dedicated to co founders of Flipkart- Mr. Sachin Bansal and Mr. Binny Bansal. An electronic presentation citing their life and achievements was displayed in the inaugural ceremony.
The first activity of the event was “Quizzard” – the Business Quiz. The winners were Shamil and Sambhav from Subodh Institute of Management and Career Studies and the runner up were Harshit and Mohammad Salman from IIRM, Jaipur.
To make the youth aware about their responsibilities, “Take the Street” was organised which was a musical street play and focused on social evils and motivated to raise voice against such evils. The winners were Amity University, Jaipur and runners up were Subodh Institute of Management and Career Studies.
Next in the chain of events was the first round of Czar of Mosaic which is a three day event in which contestants were tested on their general awareness, logical reasoning, oratory skills and stress management skills. The enduring programme of the day was “Chain the Rhythm”- Antakshari. MOSAIC-2015 will continue with the same excitement and enthusiasm on the 17th and 18th March 2015, with more fun and multihued events like the CRAFTY EDGE, PICASSO, BULLS N BEARS and HOT STEPPER.
