Now, the time has come to break the chains of fear and to embrace the infinite pain of the victims of terror attacks. Designer Sakshi Bhutoria and her team spread this message through her collection ‘Terror Unleashed’ at Sixth Annual Fashion Show Creations: 2015 organized by the IIS University.
Mr. Jagdeesh Chandra, Head ETV News Network was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion whereas Ms. Srishti Rana Miss Asia Pacific World, 2013 and Ms. Shriya Kishore, Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth, 2009 were the guest of honor.
The fashion show culminated in 11 rounds where 47 students cum fashion designers had showcased the outfits donned by students cum models based on different themes and it was judged by the Fashion Designer Ms. Pallavi Jaipur, Ms. Sandhya Srinivasan and Ms. Kiran Lalwani (alumnae).
Designer Kritika Sharma and her team showcased her collection based on the theme ‘Fairytale Romance’ in which she had used pink, golden and red colour with jacquard patters, pearls and zari to spread love all around. Ethnic Vibrance based collection showcased lehariya and gota patti combining it with silk and georgette in all its majesty and beauty to portray the richness and diversity of the culture of Rajasthan.
Inspired from the colorful culture of fair, the Festive Fair theme based collection of designer Kajal Upadhyay brings out the hidden child within us with the joy of ideas and ecstasy of candies. Sunset Calling based collection celebrated the glory of nature and the colors of sunset.
The next collection honoured the time bound tradition of gypsy culture, bohemian living and street wear collection from gorgeous Africa based on the theme Bohemian Nights and Meraki on Streets.
Designers spread the magic of waves and fantasy beautiful and mystical creatures of the ocean, the mermaid, vigour and vitality of waves through various themes like Mesmerizing Sirene, Spiaggia Vows and Blue Blithe Spirits.
The one collection which stole the show was theme Starlit Nights based collection which was a small scale display of wearable technology, an experiment of using lights in western apparel to display different mood and phases of festivity and joy.
Where the audience were spell bounded and mesmerized by the designers approach, efforts and thoughts there was a one dance performance of Anushri goyal who portrayed Rajasthani Culture through Chimri dance.
