AIMA's 11th National Competition for Young India 2014

11th NATIONAL COMPETITION FOR YOUNG INDIA (NCYI) formerly NATIONAL COMPETITION FOR MANAGEMENT STUDENTS (NCMS) of All India Management Association on the theme “Innovative youth driving the nation’s growth - Role of young entrepreneurship in India”.

The NCYI has established its brand equity in the student calendar of the country. It is organized every year and is deemed by business and industry as a prestigious challenge championship for institutes. It is a mega event designed to provide students from all background a unique platform to hone their knowledge and test their business acumen to battle with the best in the country. The Contest provides opportunities to the budding student managers to develop analytical capabilities, demonstrate self confidence, leadership and enhance presentation skills while the B-Schools/College/Institutes will get an opportunity to showcase their talent pool.

The Competition will be first held at Regional level viz. Ranchi, Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi. The best 3 teams from each region would then compete for the National Championship to be held at New Delhi.

Your University / Institute has been in the forefront of the education in recent years and has also been participating in the competition in the past.

However from the list of teams registered so far, the participation of your team is still missing. Knowing your belief in igniting young minds, may I therefore, request you to kindly do encourage your young budding managers to participate in this prestigious competition. You may nominate as many teams as possible. A copy of the poster and registration form are attached for your ready reference.

    A three member team from Goa Institute of Management has qualified for the final Panaji 8thround in an international marketing competition involving 1800 student teams from 76 countries. The annual global marketing competition conducted by ESIC Business & Marketing School in Spain started in April this year. The 4 stage competition had 2 teams each from three regions: Asia-Oceania, Europe- Africa and America, qualifying for the finals. Goa Institute of Management and IIM Bangalore are the top two teams to qualify for the competition from the Asia-Oceania region.
