Madhya Pradesh to have 10 agriculture polytechnic

Shri Gaurishankar Bisen, Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister, while addressing a gathering of agriculture universities' coordination council had announced that 10 agriculture polytechnics will be opened in Madhya Pradesh.

Shri Gaurishankar Bisen has directed the concerned officials to collect details informations such as land, buildings, courses, facilities, etc within 15 days timeframe. He also instructed the officials to study similar colleges in states of Gujrat and Maharashtra.

Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University, Jabalpur Prof. Vijay Singh Tomar and Vice-Chancellor of Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Agriculture University, Gwalior Prof. Anil Kumar Singh attended the meeting.

Goel has worked as a lecturer in Philosphy in the Allahabad Degree College and Deputy Collector in Uttar Pradesh before his selection in the India Police Service.     Three names finalized for AMU VC post

    The AMU Court has shortlisted three names for the post of Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) . The AMU Court is the highest governing body of the university. These three names has been forward to the President of India. The three shortlisted candidates were Lt Gen (Retd) Zameeruddin Shah, former IAS officer Noor Mohammad and former IPS officer Khalid Rizvi. The president who is the Visitor of the university will finalize the name out of the three names forwarded.
