JEE (Mains) 2014 All India Rankings (AIR) will be out on July 7

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be announcing results of JEE (Mains) on July 7th 2014.

The All India Ranking for JEE (Mains) is slated to be released on July 7. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the competent authority which conducted the national level test for engineering, extended the deadline for Std XII marks' confirmation from June 27 to 30.

Around 12.5 lakh engineering students who appeared for JEE (Mains) are waiting for their All India Rankings.

The JEE (Mains) rank is used by National Institute of Technology (NITs), IITs and several other institutes across India.

Candidates can check the details on official website, and can use their roll number to check status. The JEE Mains All India Rank 2014 will be based on a combination of JEE Mains scores (worth 60 per cent weight-age) and Class 12 results (for 40 per cent weight-age).

    The joint Admission Board of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) has decided that JEE Advanced 2014 will not be computed based. "There will no changes for the 2014 exams. We will follow a systematic approach before implementing the computer-based test. The board will set up a committee to study the online process and only then will implement it in future," said NK Panigrahi, JEE-Advanced 2014 chairman.
