UPCPMT exam cancelled due to paper leak

Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test (UPCPMT), which was scheduled to be held on Sunday (22nd June 2014) was cancelled because the paper was already leaked. Most of the aspirants were informed when they reached their examination centers.

Now the exams are re-scheduled to be held on 20th Jult 2014. More than 1 Lakh candidates have appeared for this exam.

According to reports, the question papers were kept in strong room of Allahabad Bank and State Bank of India in Ghaziabad. When officials came to receive the question papers, they discovered that the boxes were broken, and examination papers were taken out.

While there was confusion in Ghaziabad and the state government was still in the process of taking a decision, the examinees in more than 160 out of the total 213 centres across the state had started writing the examination but were eventually stopped.

    Panaji, March 2016:After just over a month of prepping and submitting their articles Virginia de Melo e Granjo, Cleodolinda do Remedios Pinto , Serena Botelho and Jaqueline Dias Pereira  were announced as winners of the first edition of the First Draft 2016, a Portuguese writing competition. The winners received their prizes from InêsFigueira, Delegate of Fundação Oriente ​and Dr. Rui Carvalho Baceira,​ Consul General of Portugal at a ceremony held at The International Centre Goa ,Dona Paula.
