KIIT Polytech wins 'Best Upcoming Polytechnic College in India' award

KIIT Polytechnic has been awarded as the "Best Upcoming Polytechnic College in India" during the Global Education Excellence Awards, 2014. The award, an initiative of Prime Time Research Media has been initiated to honour the achievers, innovators and leaders of the Education Sector of India. The award recognised the outstanding services and contribution to the education sector by KIIT Polytechnic. KIIT Polytechnic (KP) is the Diploma wing of KIIT Group of Institutions.

The award was presented to KIIT Polytechnic on 9 March, 2014 at the Global Education Awards-2014 at New Delhi in the presence of distinguished personalities like Dr. Najma Heptulla, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Dr. Balchandra Mungekar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Shri. Amar Singh, , Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Prof. D. K. Vaid, Dean & Head, NCERT, Shri. Anand Kumar, Founder, Super-30 and others.

    IIT Bill passed by Parliament, now students to get degrees by IIT

    Parliament has passed a bill that will make way for existing six IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) to grant degrees to the engineers that pass out. The Institute of Technology (Amendment) Bill, 2010, along with the National Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Bill, 2010, was passed by the Rajya Sabha by voice vote Monday. Both the bills have already been passed by the Lok Sabha. The bills were pending in the Rajya Sabha.
