Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) to use AIPMT 2014 Scores for MBBS Admissions

The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) has annnounced that it will be using AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) 2014 scores for MBBS admissions. Candidates who are aiming at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), should now have to appear for AIPMT 2014.

AIPMT is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

AFMC is a premier medical institute of India and is eminent as a centre of excellence for education and research.AFMC currently is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and is recognized and approved by the MCI for conducting undergraduate and many post graduate medical courses. AFMC’s "Graduate Wing" was set up on 4 August, 1962 aimed to provide a steady intake of medical officers for the Indian Armed Forces.

Important Dates:
AIPMT 2014 exam date: 4 May 2014, Sunday

Online Application Submission Dates: 1 December till 31 December 2014.
The delayed online application submission last Date: 31 January 2014 (Rs. 1000 as late fee)

    All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the results of its entrance test for MBBS programme 2014-2015. Around 2.35 lakh students appeared for AIIMS MBBS entrance exams. The institute has decided to conduct physical counselling for the allocation of seats to be held from July 8 to July 11 in New Delhi. Candidates will have ability to choose institute during councelling based on rank obtained.

    National Board of Examination (NBE), New Delhi has announced the results of All Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) for the year 2014. AIPGMEE 2014 was conducted from 25th November to 6th December 2013. AIPGMEE is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) Candidates who have qualified for participation in the counseling conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) for All India 50% Quota MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses can download their score card from AIPGMEE 2014 website.     All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) scores will be used for admissions into Medical Post Graduate courses across Karnataka state. Thus Karnataka becomes the eleventh state in the country to adopt AIPGMEE. Karnataka state wanted to adopt AIPGMEE from 2014 on wards, but could not do it since the exam date was advanced to an earlier date than what was initially announced.

    Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced dates for receipt of AIPMT forms. Last date for receipt of forms without late fees is 25th January 2012. Candidates can apply for the exam online at http://www.aipmt.nic.in/ and fill up the examination form. Payments can be done online or offline at any nationalized banks.     Central Board of Secondary examination (CBSE) has announced the date of All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT). The prelims will be held on 1st April 2012 and the main exam on 13th April 2012. This step was taken by CBSE due to postponement of NEET-UG ( National Eligibility cum entrance test for undergraduates). The AIPMT exam syllabus, exam centers and question pattern of the exam will remain exactly the same as it was in 2011.
