  • Problem of Vacant seats waiting to be addressed by IIT's

Joint Admission Board ( JAB) of IIT for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) has addressed a few issues leaving the problem of vacant seats. Seats in IIT remains vacant for two reasons 1) The candidate reserves the seat by paying the initial amount and not turning later. 2) The candidate leaves the course in the mid semester thus leading to vacancy. IIT's solved their problem in 2009 – 2010 by calling students for second round of admission. They have also called students for third round of admission in the year 2011.
