About Camp

The Career and Personal Counseling Centre of Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts Science, Margao is organizing a Career Camp for students of classes IX,X,XI and XII. The camp will be held at Chowgule College on Thursday 18th April to Saturday 20th April, 2013 from 9.00 a.m-1.00p.m.

This camp will invite experts from different fields to inform and guide the students on various professions linked to science, commerce and arts. Additionally young achievers from various fields will be present to interact and share experiences with participants. As part of the camp, the College will also administer a computerized psychometric aptitude test developed by Jnana Prabhodini’s Institute of Psychology, a renowned Institute in Pune.

The camp will help students to make informed choices and clear any doubts on their career choice.

Career Guidance Camp at Chowgule College from April 20 - 22, 2015

The Career and Personal Counseling Centre of Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts Science, Margao will be organizing a Career Guidance Camp for students of standard 10th (entering and completed), 11th and 12th. The camp will be held at Chowgule College from Monday 20th April to Wednesday 22nd April, 2015 from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.

The Career and Personal Counseling Centre of Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts Science, Margao will be organizing a Career Guidance Camp for students of standard 10th (entering and completed), 11th and 12th. The camp will be held at Chowgule College on Monday 13th April to Wednesday 15th April, 2015 from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.

‘Kitchen gardening and Waste Management’ under the Honours Programme in ‘Life - Style Management’

The Career and Personal Counseling Centre of Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts Science, Margao is starting a course on ‘Kitchen gardening and Waste Management’ under the Honours Programme in ‘Life - Style Management’. The course will cover Designing a kitchen garden, identification and management of insects, green house effect, organic composting, natural farming and non-pesticide management. Each topic will be conducted by experts from the respective field. Certificates will be issued to all those completing the course.

Workshop on Effective Study Habits at Chowgule College, Margao

The Career and Personal Counseling Centre of Chowgule College, Margao is organising a workshop on Effective Study Habits for students of X, XI and XII at the college premises. The workshop will be held on Monday 1st September, 2014 from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. The purpose of the workshop is to help students set goals, make schedules, discover suitable study styles and learn different methods of studying. The workshop will help students to formulate techniques that will make studying effective for better results.

Chowgule College to Begin Aptitude Test Classes

Panjim 13th Chowgule College of Arts Science, Margao is conducting computerized psychometric test (aptitude test) followed by career guidance and counseling. The aptitude test is developed by Jnana Prabhodini’s Institute of Psychology, a renowned Institute in Pune. The aptitude testing and career guidance is open to those above 15 years. The testing and guidance will be held at Chowgule College all of November. The career guidance and counseling will help students to make informed choices about their careers and get various issues clarified to their satisfaction.
