New course Advanced Financial Risk Management launched by IIMB

Financial Markets has become the most volatile segment in recent days. And the risk involved is new at all time high. To address this, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has announced a new certificate programme in Advanced Financial Risk Management.

This course is for working executives and will start from October 2012. This course duration is eight months.

This course is suitable for financial operators involved in risk management, such as traders, dealers, asset and fund managers, portfolio managers, financial analysts and managers performing control functions.

    Annamalai University is now under Tamil Nadu government

    Annamalai University was founded by Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar in 1929, and since then is managed by family members. The university has been in crisis owing financial irregularities since past few years. The Joint Action Council (JAC) of the Annamalai University Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff Associations, passed a bill to transfer the management to Tamil Nadu government. President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has given his assent to the Annamalai University Bill 2013, paving the way for the State government to take full control of the affairs of the 84-year-old institution.
