6 students from Gopalganj district in Bihar have cleared International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) examination. The school is founded by IITians and it imparts education using latest technology. Six selected students will now appear for IMO's level 2 examination. Teaching takes place through skype. Computers are run by generators as there is no power in the village.
Chandrakant singh, founder of the school teaches mathematics. Pankaj Kumar, from BIT, Sindri, teaches physics from Madhya Pradesh and Sanjay Rai, from BITS, Pilani, teaches chemistry from UP. Most of the students are from the near by village. The school has a hostel too. There is a fixed fee for study as well as hostel facility, but concessions are given to student from low income family.
