Shiksha.com launches Common Application form for B-Schools

Shiksh.com owned by InfoEdge India Ltd has launched common Application Form to be filled by students applying for all B-Schools in India. This will held the MBA aspirant to fill up a single form and will free the candidates from hassles of filling up different forms. Any MBA college which needs any extra information will get it from the student by means of a separate form. This will also save cost of purchasing different application forms.

Till now 14 MBA institutes have given their consent, reply is awaited from other B-Schools.

    Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced dates for receipt of AIPMT forms. Last date for receipt of forms without late fees is 25th January 2012. Candidates can apply for the exam online at http://www.aipmt.nic.in/ and fill up the examination form. Payments can be done online or offline at any nationalized banks.     AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) has launched CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) for getting admission in all B- Schools through out India for the academic year 2012- 2014 Education Promotion Society of India (EPSI), an association of B- School and Association of Indian Management Schools ( AIMS) have objected to the idea of a single entrance test.
  • Central Board of Secondary examination ( CBSE ) advises schools to form integrity Clubs

    CBSE wants schools to form integrity clubs to impart moral values in students. The board has advised schools to tell students the negative effects of television, internet and cell phones. Integrity clubs will be functioning just like community groups for imparting human values among student by means of workshop, games and different activities in schools. Integrity Club will consist of students from class 6th to 9th standard from the age group of 11 to 16 years. This club will instill values in integrity, love, patriotism, compassion, tolerance, secularism, unity, simplicity and honesty.
  • Single test for admission to all AICTE approved B Schools ?

    All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE ) had come up with the unique idea to conduct Common Management Aptitude Test ( CMAT ) for admission to all AICTE approved management colleges for MBA courses and post graduate diploma in business administration. It was a great move as students had to appear for one single exam and not multiple exams. But the idea was challenged in court, thus AICTE will be conducting the regular CMAT exam in the year 2012 and students will have to appear for multiple entrance test.
