MLB College (Bhopal) Final Year Students refused to follow Dress Code

Final year students of MLB College (Bhopal) refused to follow dress code implemented by college. They argue that it will be wastage of money to get new dresses stitched when they have just 3 – 4 months left for completion of college degree.

Graduate and post graduate students of Arts, Science and Commerce stream have refused to adhere to the norms of dress code.

This is possible because India is set to get full-fledged membership status of the Washington Accord by June 2014. India is a provisional member of Washington Accord since 2007 "After acquiring full status of the Washington Accord, employability of Indian engineers in other countries will go up substantially. This will help our students pursuing technical education," Ashok Thakur (Secretary higher education ) told reporters.

    Karnataka government has decided to introduce CBSE syllabus for 11th standard students for the academic year 2012 – 2013 while 12th standard students will have state board syllabus.     Educational Testing Service (ETS) has launched the TOEFL Scholarship Program for Indian Students. 10 Scholarships worth 70,000 USD will be awarded to students.
