CBSE announces dates for Class X and Class XII exam

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided dates for class X and class XII examination. Both class X and class XII examination will start from 1 st march 2012 but has different end dates. Class X examination will get over by 26th March 2012 and class XII exams will be finished by 13th April 2012.

    The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board examination for classes 10 and 12 will begin on March 1. For class 10 students, the examination will end on March 19 2014. And for class 12 students, the examination will end on April 17 2014. Around 22.65 lakh students have registered for the 2014 CBSE board exam as compared to 21.76 lakh students registered in 2013 CBSE board exams. The increase in number of students is attributed to large number schools opting for CBSE boards across India. CBSE announced complete date sheet for Class 10 and 12 board exams

    From 2014 onwards, Admissions to various colleges across Maharashtra will be through JEE (Joint Entrance Examinations). Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) decided to conduct centralized exams for admission to engineering courses. This comes as good respite for students of Maharashtra state.     The council for the Indian School Certificate Examination which runs around 2000 schools (CISCE) across the country has decided to reduce the examination fees by over 50 percent. Its a good news for the student appearing for class X and XII in march 2013 Jose Aikara the chairman of CISCE said "We have decided to reduce examination fees from Rs 2100 to Rs 1000 this time"

    Uttar Pradesh Board Reschedules examination dates for Class 10th and 12th standard Students

    UP board exams for class 10th and 12th standard students has been rescheduled from 1st March 2012 to 16th March and exams will conclude on 20th April 2012. Dates were revised due to clash of examination dates with election dates. Sanjay Mohan ,UP Higher Secondary Education Board chairman took the decision to help teachers rest who will be involved in UP election work. The Class X examinations will get over by 2nd April, while the Class XII examinations will continue till 20th April 2012.
