ICSE and ISC exams scheduled in February 2012

Indian Certificate Secondary Examination (ICSE) and Indian Secondary Certificate (ISC) exams will be held in the month of February. ICSE exams will start from 27th February 2012 and ISC exams will commence from 13th February 2012.

ISC exams are held earlier to give ample time to students to prepare for all competitive exams and rest.

Bengal Government decides to increate 10% seats in Bengal colleges

Students from state board are finding it very difficult to complete with ISC and CBSE students. Admission to Higher Secondary is based on marks obtained. The cut-offs of many colleges end up in 90s. "We will soon send notifications to all colleges and inform them about the 10% increase in seats in all the departments," said education minister Bratya Basu.

CBSE announces dates for Class X and Class XII exam

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided dates for class X and class XII examination. Both class X and class XII examination will start from 1 st march 2012 but has different end dates. Class X examination will get over by 26th March 2012 and class XII exams will be finished by 13th April 2012.

Uttar Pradesh Board Reschedules examination dates for Class 10th and 12th standard Students

UP board exams for class 10th and 12th standard students has been rescheduled from 1st March 2012 to 16th March and exams will conclude on 20th April 2012. Dates were revised due to clash of examination dates with election dates. Sanjay Mohan ,UP Higher Secondary Education Board chairman took the decision to help teachers rest who will be involved in UP election work. The Class X examinations will get over by 2nd April, while the Class XII examinations will continue till 20th April 2012.

All India Premedical Test (AIPMT) forms to be submitted by 25th January 2012

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced dates for receipt of AIPMT forms. Last date for receipt of forms without late fees is 25th January 2012. Candidates can apply for the exam online at http://www.aipmt.nic.in/ and fill up the examination form. Payments can be done online or offline at any nationalized banks. The pattern of exam will be same. For more help students can contact - AIPMT at 011-22509256, 57, 58, 59 and 011-22059683. The preliminary exam will be held on April 1, 2012 .

CBSE announced date of AIPMT entrance examination

Central Board of Secondary examination (CBSE) has announced the date of All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT). The prelims will be held on 1st April 2012 and the main exam on 13th April 2012. This step was taken by CBSE due to postponement of NEET-UG ( National Eligibility cum entrance test for undergraduates). The AIPMT exam syllabus, exam centers and question pattern of the exam will remain exactly the same as it was in 2011.
