IIM A is ranked No World's No 1 for Postgraduate Program in Agribusiness Management

The Postgraduate Program in Agribusiness Management (PGP – ABM) has been ranked as World's No 1 in the “Best Master's in Agribusiness / Food Industry Management Global ranking. The ranking was given by Eduniversal, France, a rating agency specialized in higher education.

Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile of Chile has been ranked number 2 while ESSEC business school of France has been ranked third in the list.

JEE (Mains) 2014 All India Rankings (AIR) will be out on July 7

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be announcing results of JEE (Mains) on July 7th 2014. The All India Ranking for JEE (Mains) is slated to be released on July 7. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the competent authority which conducted the national level test for engineering, extended the deadline for Std XII marks' confirmation from June 27 to 30. Around 12.5 lakh engineering students who appeared for JEE (Mains) are waiting for their All India Rankings.

Pattisapu Srividya of Visakhapatnam topped AIIMS entrance test results 2014

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the results of its entrance test for MBBS programme 2014-2015. Around 2.35 lakh students appeared for AIIMS MBBS entrance exams. The institute has decided to conduct physical counselling for the allocation of seats to be held from July 8 to July 11 in New Delhi. Candidates will have ability to choose institute during councelling based on rank obtained.

IIT Guwahati rated amoung the best young universities in the world

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Guwahati has been rated amoung top 100 young universities in the world. Young universities are those which were established in within last 50 years. This report has been published by Britain-based Times Higher Education and Thomson Reuters. According to report, IIT Guwwahati is ranked 87. Recently there has been news where India's premeir institution - IITs were struggling to get better ranked. IIT Guwahait is the only Indian institution in the list.

NIT-Rourkela is the 5th best university in India

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela has been ranked 5th best university in India according to a survey conducted by Cybermetrics lab, a Spain based international research group. NIT, Rourkela ranks 1067th in the world. "It is a matter of great pride and profound honour for the entire NIT family, faculty, staff, students and to all others who helped us in our efforts to achieve this prestigious position" he said.

Indian Universities lost ranking on the Global Map

No Indian universities were listed in the Top 200 list released by QS ranking for the year of 2011 - 2012. The rankings by QS ( Quacquarelli Symonds) , a leading networking organization in higher education, are based on employer reputation, academic reputation and research quality.
