HIMCS aims at enhancing management and IT skills, since the executive of today has to think beyond traditional boundaries and hence needs to expand his vision. This therefore requires a cross- functional perspective, and is the corner- stone of HIMCS's curriculum. The learning methods are interactive.The Institute's pride is the faculty comprising of eminent academicians and people drawn from the industry who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields. Eminent guest faculty from various industries and institutions regularly visit the campus to deliver lectures of topical interest. The lecturers are highly interactive in nature and the guest faculty share their experience with the students. The Institute strongly believes in developing programmers in tune with the requirement of the Industry. The use of case studies, Simulation exercise and project work help in honing the skills of individual decision-making.The focus from the current academic year would be to ensure that 10 experts each from academics and industry regularly visit the campus interacting both with faculty and students. This will further strengthen the ties between the campus and the industry as well as give exposure to students apart from syllabi.
