This is a hard fact that 75% of Indian's population lives in villages, which for over the years has not been able to contribute in the country development due to lack of adequate and sufficient facilitie at local level. Education for all has been and still is a greatest challenge against all our countrymen jever since our nation has gained freedomthis challenge we on the wishes and blessing of our respected parents founded a college name as Sri Ram Intermediate college native village para (Kandaur) around 30 years ago with an objective to provide quality fundamental education to the needy children of our village as well as of the nearby villages. This area is one of the most backward area of Bundelkhand region in Uttar Pradesh. This are is th village, where I was born and brought up and after retirement from India Aministrative service, I visit the village at least twice every month and look after its all round development. I remember for attending the High School & Intermediate classes at Hamirpur our Distt. Head Quarter, we had to travel more than 15 km. on foot. This situation has inspired a strong feeling to establish a college in the village itself. Here presently carious subjects under Arts, Science and Agriculture streams are taught. Where nearby 100 students both girls and boys are studying.
In order to provide higher education to these students and also to entire rural area of the near vicinity we started a new edition of our already existing Intermediate college by the name of Sri Ranm Krishna Mahavidyalaya at Kurara Distt. Hamirpur in the year 2003. In this co-education verture of ours initially various subjects under faculty of Arts, Viz Hindi, English, Sanskrit, (Both Literature & Language) Sociology, Economics, Political Science and Education ware taught by highly experienced and qualified lecturers inm a vell architecture building and related infrastructure. To extend, Home science, and computers were added from the year 2004 with adequate focus on labs buildings classrooms etc. We have always been following the different procedural guidelines laid down by Bundelkhand university from time. From the academic year 2007 various subjects under science faculty like Physics, Chemistry, Math, Zoology & Botany have been commenced with appropriate laboratories and other infrastructure facilities. Apart from regularly upgrading the infrastructure and other facilities as per the need of the hour, we have an ambition of introducing post graduate classes with the support and co-operation of many like minded associates, enlightened persons and educationists. We have been able to develop adequate facilities for various indoor and outdoor sports activities over the years in a sprawling campus spread across in 14 bighas beside having a N.C.C. and N.S.S. training programmes.
