The Digvijai Nath PG College, Gorakhpur was established on 25th August, 1997 and it is run by the Managing Committee appointed by the Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad, Gorakhpur - a Trust founded in 1932 by His Holiness late Sri Digvijai Nath, the Mahant of Gorakhnath Temple. The Trust presently runs 21 educational institutions in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The college was started with the aim to provide value oriented education to the people of the region
