I am working in SDTML, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai - 400088. My dept. is UGC INFONET Centre / INFILIBNET Centre in SDTML, TISS. Digitization of all type of project involves to provide the TISS community rich and relevant information resources to support their research, teaching and learning activities. The library is fully computerized using "SLIM LX", a library management software package, which works on Linux platform. Online library catalogue is available and can also be accessed through library web site.
Digital Resourcces: A State-of-art Digital Libray includes online and CD-ROM databases, e-journals, theses and dissertations, TISS publications etc. More than 7,000 online journals are availble for the users of the library from 8 Online Databases i. e. Project: Muse, Springer, J-Gate, JSTOR, Taylor & Francis, Sage online, emerald, IndiaStats, World Bank Resources accessible via the library Homepage, provide access to full-text scholarly research articles beyond the physical wall of the library. Major CD-ROM database collection includes ProQuest, Wilson Social Science Abstract, Popline etc.
