P.Perichi Gounder Memorial Charitable Trust, established in the year 1992 by Dr.L.P.Thangavelu, M.S., a leading laproscopic surgeon in coimbatore with himself as Managing Trustee and his wife Mrs.Shanthi Thangavelu as the Trustee. The Trust has now opened one more Educational institution in the name and style of PPG College of Education where in the B.Ed., Degree Course and Diploma in Teacher Training is offered. Apart from this the Trust is running a full fledged Cancer Hospital.
